Social media management
Channel rebuild, four content pillars, weekly publishing, and paid behind what earns it.
Independent · Owned by the people doing the work
Strategy, brand, public relations, executive presence, speaking and media — one senior team, accountable for the business outcome. When your in-house team can carry it, we hand it back.
Where our clients’ stories land, and where their executives speak
The shape of the firm
Most firms sell you a campaign and hand it back. We take the whole function and run it as one accountable team until the milestone arrives.
Companies at roughly $500M–$1B, or high-growth firms investing $3M+ a year. A fractional CMO is too small here. A holding-company agency is too big and too slow.
No holdco math, no media rebates, no account-team layering. The person in the pitch is the person on the account.
We limit the roster so senior people stay in the day-to-day rather than appearing at quarterly reviews.
When the in-house team can carry it, we hand it over. That is the intended ending, not a failure.
Including revenue we could comfortably take.
Who we work with
They usually have been sold a playbook before. They need the right answer, not the convenient one, and they need it before the window closes.
A defined milestone marketing is being measured against in the next eighteen to thirty-six months. Roughly $500M–$1B in revenue, or $3M+ a year in marketing investment. A function that needs to be built or rebuilt, not topped up.
CMOs and senior marketing leaders personally accountable for a business outcome — or, where there is no CMO, the C-suite owner of the commercial function.
CEOs, CFOs, boards and PE sponsors, assessing what marketing contributes to enterprise value.
What we run
Each earns its keep alone. An integrated engagement prices below the sum of its parts, because the services share a messaging house, a milestone calendar and an account team. Five doors, one room.
Channel rebuild, four content pillars, weekly publishing, and paid behind what earns it.
Messaging house first, then a working newsroom. Trade and investor press as one story engine.
Territories your executive can own, a real publishing cadence, ghost-drafted bylines — and correcting what the answer engines say about them.
Stage identification, abstracts, run-of-show, and one signature keynote refined by repetition.
Brand assets, data visualisation, regulatory-cleared content, and media planning and buying with the discipline behind it.
What sits underneath
The five services are what you buy. This is what we staff and run inside them — including the media engine and the data layer, in-house.

Enterprise value
Over $2B in attributable enterprise value created at the moments our clients were measured on.
Built the brand and full-funnel channel infrastructure from nothing, then operated the performance marketing function through to a public listing.
A near-zero visibility baseline, a regulatory decision coming, and an investor audience that had never heard the CEO speak.
A national fuel program that had to be measured in gallons sold, not impressions served.
Range — the work that built the method
A loved but unknown lotion, undifferentiated in a $1B category and speaking to the wrong audience. Repositioned from lotion to skin therapy and pivoted to Gen Z, with a social reboot, new packaging and product development.
In their words
Two clients on the record. Both ran the engagement with the partners who pitched it.
When we first started with Cullen + Rose, we had virtually no marketing. Through their incredible service and focus on our business, they helped us scale to an eight-figure acquisition budget while maintaining profitability. They are a pleasure to work with and treated our business as their own — they are my go-to growth partner.
Cullen + Rose is a best in class team — they embraced our complex business challenge and delivered a well-calibrated strategic approach and marketing solution that unified our data through a high-impact go-to-market growth platform.
Selected clients
Across bio-tech, finance, energy, construction and CPG — and the consumer brands where our heritage is deepest.
Marked engagements have named figures on this page. Several others are under NDA and are not listed.
Where we work
The sector mix is evidence that the method travels — not five separate businesses stapled together.
Clinical evidence turned into commercial gravity — trade and investor press, congress moments, executive authority through a regulatory or data catalyst.
Institutional credibility and investor-grade storytelling, from performance programs through to listing and capital-raise moments. Additional heritage in crypto.
National-scale demand programs measured in sales volume, not impressions.
Building a marketing function where one has never properly existed, in an industry that rewards substance over polish.
Where our heritage is deepest — brand, performance media and channel innovation under real retail pressure.
We do not work in automotive, real estate or hard pharma. What a heart-failure device company, a national fuel trade body and a construction group have in common is a complex or regulated story, a long buying cycle, and a milestone the business is being judged against. The method travels; it does not travel everywhere.
How an engagement runs
Four phases, ten weeks to first market. No acronym, no proprietary method — the sequence is the point.
Insights, cultural tension, the emotional territory, and the thing the brand is actually up against.
Sharpened positioning and a core narrative.Ecosystem and channel strategy, the content guide, creator briefs, campaign structure and the media plan.
Friction taken out of the conversion path.Creative concepting, campaign execution, creator and partner kits, asset and media testing.
Earned reach and share of voice.Community activation, retention and loyalty loops, sentiment and resonance tracking, reporting.
Lifetime value extended with something of real value.Fit
Turning away the wrong engagement early is the most useful thing we can do for both of us.

Managing Partner, Strategy + Media
Goldman Sachs · DDB · Y&R VML
Leads strategy, brand media and the data underneath the program — planning, buying and the measurement that lets a board see what marketing contributed.
matt@cullenandrose.comThe position
For companies with a milestone coming that marketing will be judged against, Cullen + Rose is the independent firm that runs the marketing function — brand, public relations, executive presence, speaking and media as one accountable team — because the people who pitch you are the people who do the work, and we only win when the business does.
One call, no pitch deck. Bring the deadline you are being measured against and the part that is currently keeping you up. If we are not the right firm, we will say so and point you somewhere better.
